A good tip for life in general.
But when you’re a photog and on assignment, this becomes more than just a helpful saying; it can make or break your job.
For example, if you’re covering an event where something specific is happening at a certain time, it’s your job to capture that moment. Sounds relatively simple, right? Just hold the camera and press a button.
But when the moment is something like a plane flying over a football stadium (which I’ve had to cover before), you have probably less than 20 seconds to get that moment on camera. Suddenly, being ready isn’t such a casual statement anymore.
